Valid UAE health insurance is mandatory nationwide for all residence and work visas since 1 Jan 2025. A reported 2026 rise of the remote-work income floor to US$5,000 (and higher insurance cover) could not be confirmed against an official source — the verifiable figure is US$3,500/month.
